Hello everyone,

I just wanted to take a quick moment to say thanks to everyone who came down to Sawyer Point for BrewHaHa this past weekend. It was a great experience for all of the performers and dare I say it, all those who attend the two evenings’ festivities.

On another note, as you may have guessed from the title of this post, I am coming to Indianapolis to do my first weekend engagement at Crackers Comedy Club in the Broad Ripple neighborhood of Indianapolis next month. I’ll be working with Guy Torry (who I met several years ago after he performed a little closer to home at the Funny Bone on the Levee in Newport, Ky a few years ago. I’ll be working with Rachel Feinstein who you may have seen recently on a show on NBC that features comedians hoping to outshine each other for the hopes people will come see them in comedy clubs on purpose …

Lastly, I recently stumbled across an article online at Wiretap Magazine that reviewed a show I did last year with Kyle Grooms and Jamie Kilstein at my home club, Go Bananas. Take a read; it’s quite well written if I do say so myself! (And no, I didn’t write it myself!)

‘Sup everyone,

There’s been a substantial amount of news since the last time I updated this part of my Web site (hence the reason I waited to update my Web site … Well that and just plain laziness and such) …

[1] I will be performing at two comedy festivals in the next 30 days – the first one being the BrewHaHa Cincinnati on Friday, Aug. 27th and Saturday, Aug. 28th. Revamped in hopes of making this year’s festival the best one yet, I will be hosting on the side stage on Friday night … And then returning to host on the main stage Saturday, which will feature the likes of Jeremy Essig, Last Comic Standing alums John Evans and Josh Sneed, the hilarious Chad Daniels and your headliner, Bob & Tom favorite Tim Wilson. This is a pretty big deal, so hopefully, it won’t end up all screwy with all the beer that’ll be flowing on site!

[2] I also have recently been invited to perform at the upcoming Columbus Comedy Festival. I’ll be there on Saturday, Sept. 11th (saying “never forget” seems wildly inappropriate here, so I won’t). There will be a lot of great comics at the event in a city that has a lot of great comics you need to see. Click on the link to learn more, won’t you please?

[3] Last but certainly by no means least, I inadvertently made my national TV debut as a stand-up comedian this week (as opposed to all the times HGTV repeats my episode of Property Virgins where they just showed me on stage at the Dayton Funny Bone (trivia answer!). If your cable or satellite provider happens to carry the MavTV network, you may have seen me on a show called “Rooftop Comedy Hits The Road.” If you happy to be reading this on Saturday, Aug. 21, you can catch my episode tonight at 10:30 p.m.!

See you on a stage near you soon!

Hey everyone who checks out this Web site (and by everyone, I mean EVERYONE – there’s like what, 4 of you? Remember, you may be small, but your mighty – kinda like Mike Tyson when he was better known as being the final boss in Mike Tyson’s Punch Out! rather than “that crazy tattooed face guy who spent time in prison, went broke, was also in The Hangover and raises pigeons),

I am featured today on the “Daily 8″ on RooftopComedy.com, which is always a nice honor when it happens. Given that the joke is one that has become relevant to me personally once again and was inspired by true events last year, I really gotta [1] get them to shoot some new footage of me, [2] write some more material and [3] hope this economy stops being terrible ASAP!

Lastly, I’m hosting for my buddy Vince Morris (hilarious gentleman, plenty of great credits) this weekend at the Funny Bone on the Levee at Newport on the Levee in Kentucky. Feel free to visit the calendar page of my site or hit me up at tdmccoy@fuse.net for more information on the shows … And a potential discount offer, too.

Have a good week!

Hello Everyone,

I just realized that I have eggregiously forgotten to get the news section updated! So, in the spirit of actually making this page worth clicking on, here’s the latest news!

Are you a sports fan? Do you like 1530 AM Homer 24/7 sports personality Mo Egger? Do you just spend too much time on the Internet? If the answer to any of these questions is “yes,” do yourself a favor and stop by Mo Egger’s blog today. You might just recognize the guest blogger today, especially if they haven’t changed my entry’s title from “Tabari McCoy” to the other one I suggested yet!

Also, following a great show July 4th weekend at Bear’s Place in Bloomington, Indiana, I have been asked to return and perform two shows at 8 and 10:30 p.m. this Saturday, July 17th. (I’m missing a cookout for this, people!). I’ll be the feature act, a.k.a. the guy in the middle of the show who is supposed to be better than the opening act, but not quite as famous as the headliner … Whether or not that is true remains to be seen. If you’re going to be in the area, come on out … It’s always a great time!
